1: HandE Casting Advertising Agency [CAA] herewith known as ’The Company’
1.1 The Company is governed by the policies of the advertising association (IAA) and will openly advertise details within the media industry of which it works – hereby TV, Film, Theatre, Commercial and Corporate viewing
1.2 The Company is not a personal managers will not act as one. As an Agent we do not have a closed contract and all members of the agency are open to seek other representation.
1.3 The Company has the right to advertise any details given to it by the individual. Either on the companies website or in it’s publication of ‘The HandE book of Casting’.
1.4 The Companies advertised details are www.hande-caa.co.uk; 01992 570662
1.5 The company will distribute the publication to professional persons and companies within the media industry of which it works.
2: Individuals details that will be advertised in the Publication ‘The HandE book of Casting’ or on the website will benefit from:
1.1 On full payment received details will be ready for viewing on the website within 24 hours
1.2 Contact details to be published will be those of the individual’s Agent’s, Personal Managers or any other person who represents them
1.3 No personal details will be published
1.4 Personal details will only be kept for reference by The Company and will not be passed onto any other persons.
3: The Agency terms
1.1 HandE Agency representation fees per paid job 16.5%
1.2 Membership with The Company is FREE
1.3 prices for advertising in the publication and the website vary – individuals do not have to be represented by HandE Agency to use these facilities clause 2-1.2 applies
1.4 No charges will be taken from expenses (travel, meals, costumes or makeup)
1.5 All payment to The Company will be paid directly into the company’s client account and all individuals will be paid their work fees directly from this account.
1.6 All work payments will be sent to the individual ten (10) days after The Company has received payment.
1.7 All job accounts can be viewed by the individual on request. 4: Company Requirements:
1.1 The Company requires full CV and photos from all applicants
1.2 Children - Copies of birth certificates, two passport photos and a letter of good health dated on the day of applying from their parent or guardian.
1.3 Adults – must submit a copy of their driving licence or passport with their application
1.4 All applicants must be aware of the companies requirements as follows: · all details of contact must be updated regularly
· no one must accept a job or casting if they know they will not be able to attend
· there must be reasonable reason for cancellation once a job is excepted [a medical condition or similar]
· Parents must be aware that children can only be taken out of school for a limited period throughout the year and that rules subject to a licence is required.
· The company will work closely with the PACT and Equity agreements for all commercial channels and other work.
· The company will notify all individuals on the payment of the work before forwarding details – if the payment is accepted this cannot be argued at a later date. Conditions apply in respect of overtime and other fees occurred to the individual while on set.
· All complaints must come to the company first and we will handle them on your behalf
· Contracts will be made on your behalf once the work has been accepted
