About The Company

Established in 2003 as The Herts and East Presenters Agency, with Justine Maynard as founder, she drew this image and was off with her ‘HandE Man’.

She started to work on pushing her clients out to Production companies with great success. The name later changed to HandE Casting Advertising Agency. As her clients would often call and ask for HandE (pronounced ‘Handy”). Later the company became part of the Agents Association of GB and the International Advertising Agency, really boosting its profile.

Justine’s extensive experience in Media Production obviously followed her next venture into HandE Film Productions, with filming corporate videos and TV pilots. After a short time, Justine realised what was missing from the Media industry for Production companies; a book that would give companies peace of mind that they are being seen by everyone – no restriction. Other books that have been printed are only seen by the people that buy them. As a Production Company, Justine thought “why should I buy them?” And The HandE Book of Casting was created for distribution to companies throughout the UK free of charge (now in its 3rd year).

From her previous employment Justine was inspired to create a Youth School. The HandE Youth School helps children learn about media, in front and behind the camera. With after school clubs and weekend activities the youth school is building the next generation of Media executives.

Taking on more staff as the business grew and moving to bigger premises to cater for all Media requirements, Justine moved on to yet another side of the business and created HandE Music Publishers. She wanted to create a one stop shop for all Media needs.

In 2007, building work started on Epping Film Studios to make Justine’s dream come true. An Auditorium, Sound Stage, Blue Screen, Photographic, Editing suit and offices all have been designed to turn a small idea into a big reality.

After the completion of the build after October 2007 this will become the head office to many more HandE Film Studios.

The HandE Group is known as an international company now with over 12 staff and productions that have already caused a stir in TV and Film industry.

Her team comes from all different fields, all with one vision – HandE. The team is strong and is the driving force behind her company. Between them they have a variety of skills and when they coincide together to form a multi functional and productive work force. Employing young people with enthusiasm as Juniors, to be trained and learn about the media. They are encouraged to progress through the company.

Recently Justine has employed a multilingual Spanish representative to enable the company to branch into Europe. This has been a massive boost to the companies profile and will help the creativity to the next level.

Justine’s Inspiration came from Richard Branson. She wants ‘HandE on Plane’
